Belatra is a Belarusian company that was established in 1993 by Yuriy Voinich. Initially, the company produced boards and components for slot machines. However, by the early 2000s, it aspired to achieve a full production cycle of slot machines. Third-party components were used at first, but by 2005, the equipment was made up of boards, screens, and housings of its own production.
Belatra actively developed its production and sought new partners in both CIS and non-CIS countries. Since 2006, it has supplied slot machines to slot halls in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. In 2009, the company was compelled to withdraw from Russia and Ukraine, its two largest markets, due to a gambling ban implemented in those countries. As a result, Belatra began searching for new markets to promote its equipment and software with renewed enthusiasm.
Since the early 2010s, Belatra has been expanding its influence in the South American market, actively participating in major exhibitions globally, and developing and launching new machines. In 2017, Belatra signed an agreement with SoftSwiss, a renowned supplier of software for online casinos, which led to the launch of the Belarusian manufacturer's games in the online market. Despite the challenges it has faced, Belatra has remained dedicated to quality and innovation, making it a prominent player in the gaming industry.
